Missions. It’s a Commandment.
One reason Indian Springs Baptist Church exists is to fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18–20. In this passage, Jesus calls His followers to be witnesses both locally and around the world. That command still guides us today.
ISBC International Share focuses on taking the Gospel to our global community. We serve through outreach efforts where we can openly share our faith. In other settings, we serve through action when words are not possible. This often includes building projects, medical care and spending time with children while their parents receive ministry and support.
We partner with Crosspoint International Ministries to serve in Central America. There, we encourage local pastors and support their churches. Honduras is our current focus. Each year, we send three to five teams to serve alongside our church partners.
We also partner with the International Mission Board. Through this partnership, we have served in Asia, the Middle East and other regions where security limits what we can share publicly. In many of these places, it is not safe to openly speak the name of Jesus. Even so, we share Christ through our actions and support missionaries who faithfully serve in difficult areas.
To put Jesus’s words simply: Missions. It’s a commandment.

WMU at ISBC is a group of women committed to living on mission. Together, we pray for missionaries, give to mission efforts and learn about the work God is doing around the world. We also serve through hands-on projects that support our church, our community and global outreach. Through prayer, study and action, you can grow in your faith while helping share the Gospel near and far.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
